History of Beals

  • A look back at the last 20 years with Beals.

    April 24th 1995 – Beal’s established as a 4 office Residential Sales Agent, Waterlooville, Fareham, Park gate & North End after acquiring Britannic Estate Agents.

     

    October 1995 – Opens up our first rental office in Fareham

     

    December 1996 – Opens up Southsea office, for both Sales and Rental

     

    June 1997 – Expands the Park Gate office to incorporate the Second rentals office in Middle road

     

    July 1997 – The first independent estate agent to have a web system, to allow browsing of all the sales and rental stock on the internet.

     

    March 1998 – Expands the in house financial team, an advisor based in each department

     

    April 1999 – Open up our Survey department at head office in Fareham

     

    February 2000 – Establish a new rentals department in Fareham, establish team of property managers at Fareham head office.

     

    July 2000 – Buy a local Survey company, to expand our recently established department.

     

    July 2001 – Establish a new rental department in Waterlooville.

     

    April 2002 – Partnership is opened up, new partner is recruited from local competitors.

     

    May 2002 – Open up our 6th office in Gosport, incorporating both sales and rentals.

     

    September 2004 – Open up our 7th office in Hedge End, incorporating both sales and rentals.

     

    January 2006 – Open up our 8th office Bitterne, incorporating both sales and rentals.

     

    June 2007 – Relocate from our existing head office in Fareham, to a brand new purpose building located in Whiteley. This incorporates our 9th office for sales and rentals.

     

    December 2008 – Buy a rentals property local management company, adding to our already large portfolio.

     

    January 2010 – Open up our 10th office Havant, incorporating both sales and rentals.

     

    March 2010 – Acquire a block management company, to expand our survey department.

     

    January 2011 – Open up our 11th office, we acquire Alexander’s in Shirley, and this incorporates both a sales and rentals department.

     

    January 2011 – Open up our own solicitor referral department, allowing greater control of the sales transaction with locally based solicitors.

     

    November 2011 – Expand our financial services department, we acquire UK FINANCIAL SERVICES, we also expand the department as we join the intrinsic panel. This includes office based and remote advisors. Independent financial advice can now be offered, this includes mortgage and regulated advice. (Pensions and Investments)

     

    November 2011 – Setup an internal telesales operation

     

    April 2012 – Invested over £10 million of our client’s money through pension and investment products

     

    June 2012 – Transfers to the latest software, allowing greater continuity with the modern portals, and a more efficient way of keeping in touch with clients.

     

    2013 – Start refurbishment project on all offices.

     

    April 2013 – Invested £22.5 million of our client’s money through pension and investment products

     

    January 2014 – Completion of refurbishment project

     

    March 2014 – Open up our 12th office in Eastleigh, incorporating both sales and rentals.

     

    April 2014 – Invested over £40 million of our client’s money through pension and investment products

     

    September 14 – Open up our 13th office in Emsworth, incorporating both sales and rentals.

     

    November 2014 – Introduction of a new Financial Services brand, “Beals Wealth Management”

     

    December 2014 – Winners at the Estate Agency of the Year Awards 2014 having won awards for Best South East Medium Sized Agency and Best Financial Services with an Estate Agency

     

    April 2015 – We expect to have Invested £xxx of our client’s money through pension and investment products

     

    24 April 2015 – We celebrate 20 years!
